A trivia fundraiser for the Pet Project Midwest will take place at People’s on Court on Thursday May 10th.
Teams of eight will compete at the Dog-Eat-Dog Trivia Night through nine rounds of questions ranging from pop culture to food to Des Moines area trivia. It costs $30 to play and will help to raise money to keep animals with their people around the Des Moines metro area.
“Tickets can be purchased in ones, twos, fives, etc.,” said Sara Henderson, board president of The Pet Project Midwest. “You do not need to put a whole team of 8 together to sign up! Just grab a buddy or two, or plan a solo night out & buy your ticket soon!”
Ticket cost will also include a dinner from Bandit Burrito and cash prizes for the top three teams. An auction will follow the trivia game.
The event will kick off at 7 p.m. Those wishing to participate can purchase your tickets online at the Pet Project homepage or at the door the night of the event.
Channel 13’s own Jannay Towne will be an emcee at the event along with Karess Carter from STAR 102.5
