Iowa Care Givers Workshop | Events

The Iowa Care Givers Association will be hosting “A Call to Leadership” program on May 15th at the Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny.

The program will be an educational workshop for direct care professionals to explore new ways and techniques to allow them to become role models in their industries.

The program is free, but registration is required to attend. The program will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday. Those wishing to register can do so at the Iowa Care Givers homepage.

The Iowa Care Givers Association encourages all of those in the following professions to attend the leadership workshop: Certified Nursing Assistants, Direct Support Professionals, Hospice Aides, and other direct care professionals, who provide hands-on, personal care and support in nursing homes, client's homes, assisted living, group homes, hospitals, hospices, and other settings.
