A trail connecting Des Moines and West Des Moines is set to open Wednesday. Officials from both cities will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for the completion of the 63rd Street Trail.

35 Elementary Schools Receive Grant

35 Elementary Schools Receive Grant

The Midwest Dairy Council has awarded 35 Des Moines Elementary Schools Fuel Up to Play 60 grants for the school year.  In total, the $41,000 will be used to promote physical activity and healthy choices.
