A Des Moines doctor accused of manslaughter won’t go on trial until next year.

Dr. Daniel Baldi was scheduled to go on trial for ten counts of involuntary manslaughter on December 2nd.

But Tuesday the trial was delayed until February 3rd of next year.

Baldi is accused of over-prescribing painkillers to ten patients who later died because of prescription abuse.
