45 New Skywalk Signage to be Installed in Downtown Des Moines | News
Title (Max 100 Charaters)
The Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau (GDMCVB) along with the City of Des Moines is updating 45 Downtown Des Moines skywalk signs with temporary signs.
The new signs will help visitors to easily navigate the skywalk. The temporary signs will be up until the City completely replaces the existing signage throughout the skywalk system.
The idea came about when visitors would frequently stop by the GDMCVB office asking for directions to city landmarks such as Wells Fargo Arena, Hy-Vee Hall or the Civic Center.
The changes will include rephrasing to better direct visitors to where they need to go.
The City plans to implement a completely updated skywalk signage system by mid-2012.
