Des Moines police are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect in a recent restaurant break-in.
Tuesday morning police responded to the Subway on Grand Avenue for a burglary alarm. When they arrived, they found the front door window smashed and no one in the area. Police say the suspect tampered with the safe in the restaurant.
Detectives are trying to determine if this suspect is involved in other recent subway burglaries.
Officials have released images of the alleged suspect taken from surveillance video. He is described as a white male in a blue hoodie and jean shorts. It appears he was driving a silver SUV.
