MURDER CASE: Suspect In Stabbing Arrested | News
Des Moines police have made an arrest in the homicide of 31-year-old Eric Naylor.
Police say 30-year-old Joseph Ceretti is charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of Naylor.
Officers were dispatched to E. 17th and Walnut around 12:30 a.m. Monday on a call of a male who had been shot. The victim, Naylor, was pronounced dead at Mercy Hospital.
An autopsy now shows Naylor died from multiple stab wounds to his chest.
Police say Ceretti was an acquaintance of Naylor’s, but are not releasing any information on a possible motive for the murder.
