LOCAL GOODS: Last Market Of The Season | News
Those of you who have gotten used to picking up handmade and locally-grown goods at the farmers market from week to week better stock up. Saturday will be the last winter market of the season.
The market won’t start up again until late spring.
The last winter market will be held outside in Nollen Plaza, and inside Capitol Square.
Shoppers will find all sorts of the usual locally-grown foods, as well as holiday staples like live Christmas trees and handmade ornaments.
The market runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
