Input Wanted On Affordable Housing | Real Estate

The Des Moines Municipal Housing Agency is asking for input from residents regarding how to best use their Affordable Housing Development Funds. The Agency will host two public meetings to explain the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations and take input on what should be done to provide affordable house within Des Moines and Polk County. From the meetings an Ad Hoc Committee of interested persons will be chosen to work with the Agency to brainstorm further solutions.

Anyone interested in giving input on the future of affordable housing in Des Moines should attend one of the following meetings:

• Wednesday, August 15,  5:30p.m. at Park Fair Mall
• Friday, August 17,  Noon at Park Fair Mall
